And when one of these low life's little 4 year old sister catches one of the bullets that's shredding through the house when the rival gang does a drive by, I'm sure that was directed too. The little girl should have known the dangers of being born into a family with a brother that was a dumb arse gang banger. In our area, not a lot of "innocent" bystanders. Just people up to no good,
who know the dangers of the lifestyle.
I have to ask, what PR machine? Are you speaking of people on this forum speaking out about how safe they feel in Cozumel?
If the PR machine is something other than people on this forum, please tell us where to find it. If they were hiding the fact that there was a cartel hit on some drug dealer that crossed them, why is it in the news?
Maybe what you see as a PR machine trying to make things benign, is really just reasonable people trying to put things in perspective?
What "PR machine"?
Does the Cozumel chamber of commerce post here?
We are all independent people posting our opinions.
Calling us a "PR machine" just looks like a tactic to attempt to invalidate our points of view. Please stick to the facts and cut out the name-calling. Thanks.
So who are you calling a PR machine? Why don't you say what you mean instead of trying to impress us with how you "get it" and the rest of us don't? I don't see why a "PR machine" would waste its time posting here, anyway. Most of us have long ago made up our minds about Cozumel and don't need convincing, and the audience here is vanishingly small in the grand scheme of things. You're either aware of PR workings or you're not. If a person has never had exposure to PR in a corporate or other setting, you won't recognize it. When it's done well, it's ever so subtle. When it's done badly, it's an embarrassment.
I have no idea. Does Cozumel even have a Chamber of Commerce? I thought that was an American thang.
Are you sure about that? I don't agree that "we are all independent people posting our opinions." Surely there's a poster here and there who has a vested commercial interest on the island.
Just bringing my own points of view to the table, and you weren't called a PR machine, so don't take it personally.

A PR machine is an entity, not a who.
Wow, the "rest of you" don't get it? There are some fellow posters who might not want to be painted with that brush stroke.
As it should, every thread eventually comes to an end.
Suffice it to say, we must agree to disagree.
Keep enjoying the awesome trips to Cozumel, as I will too (unless Dallas miraculously gets Caribbean blue-warm water and palm trees--but I won't hold my breath).
I've answered alot, just not to your satisfaction. Again we'll have to agree to disagree and SOME OF US need to do a lot more diving (me included). For the record, I enjoy going to Coz, it's one of my favorite diving destinations (in case anyone missed that earlier).I find it amazine that you went to the trouble of answering two posts asking you to clarify what you meant, and yet you didn't really say anything. It just sounded like you were trying to impress us with your intellect? Maybe you should go into politics?
