I'm not their keeper, but I can tell you they were testing the BT with a 160m dive recently... check out their facebook page.where were they last week? Or before that?
None, I was looking for a very light weight wing setup for travelling and came across their Ghost Wing and that led me to their BT and subsequently to this forum. I didn't buy their wing in the end - I needed something that would also accommodate some twin's and stages, so I went with AGIR BROKK in Sweden. All of your recent posts deal with XDeep, so what is your relationship to the company?
You are right, I am not their keeper and I am NOT defending them... I have stated that before. You are not their keeper but their defender
I said that because there is information there that might help other who are interested... I agree that in an ideal world, they would post that information everywhere...look at Facebook, Why?
I do keep up with news, I work in technology and technical and product design. If you are on the internet, someone knows about it! Your government and mine are both in the news right now for exactly that... if that worries you, the internet is NOT the place to hang out!Facebook tracks everything you do on their site and then sells the info to third parties. Many of us do not want to be a part of that.
The product they have promised is the Bottom Timer, my understanding is that this is well in production and some stock is starting to move, but they have been overwhelmed with pre-orders and have a huge backlog to fulfil. Also, why are they testing a product that was supposedly ready and available for shipment months ago?
I don't disagree with this at all. An actor is judged on their ability to act, not their social behaviour; so allow xDeep to get their product to the market to be judged fairly against other similar products. Finally, my point is this. In any industry there are good actors and bad actors. The good actors should be recommended and rewarded with business, the bad actors should be identified and not given business. After all most people prefer to spend money with a company that is customer-service orientated, not a company that leaves them twisting in the wind.
What time did you go there?I was standing at the x deep booth yesterday here at DEMA. The rep was telling those in attendance that there was still 8-10 weeks before they started filling US back orders. So make of that what you will......
