We have booked a trip for 13 people (only 6 are divers) to the Wyndham in May. We would be interested in hearing about your experience if you booked there also. We have stayed at ElCozumeleno and Hotel Cozumel in the past and have found their AI food to be mediocre as well. We like to rent jeeps and travel into town and eat dinner several times in the week. The food is more authentic and there is more variety. We also like to hit the little beach bar & grills along the Western shore. We have had great food there (we usually go early because sometimes they "close" the road on that side of the island and won't let tourists pass). We stayed at a Wyndham in the Bahamas last year. The rooms were adequate, but the food was also not remarkable. I think that is a trademark of all-inclusives. So we just include extra money in the budget to go and find some truly tasty food elsewhere on the island!
