Since this is turning into more of a weekend trip, I can't pass up the opportunity for some Sunday dives as well. So I'll be heading out of Long Beach at 6:15am and taking the 2:05 back on Sunday.

Is anyone heading out from LB Saturday morning?

My dive plans are up in the air, but one scenario involves taking the 6:15 a.m. Express Saturday morning from Long Beach for a quick dive or two at Casino Point. (I have to be back on the mainland Saturday afternoon, though.) If this works out to be the plan when the wheel stops turning and the little ball stops bouncing around, I'll definitely look you guys up!

Maybe some of us could do some boat diving on Saterday, viz is supposed to be really good.........

Cool! I'd love to meet you neighbor. We'll be easy to spot with our new ScubaBoard banner.

I believe HBDiveGirl will be heading out from LB on Saturday morning at 6:15 and now it sounds like Frank O might be doing the same if that roullette wheel he's using has been properly fixed. :eyebrow:

Although you are probably right, I'm going to stick to Casino Point this time. There are some things that I'm trying to work out with some dive planning that I've been playing with and the Dive Park is a perfect place for me to play around with this.

Maybe some of the other people would like to do that with you though. It would give us all more to talk about at dinner! :crafty:

Captain Marvel and Frank-O, I'll be lugging gear onto the 0615 Express in Long Beach Saturday, looking around for you guys! Planning to return sometime Saturday evening but the time is pretty open ended. I am eager to frolic in the park again...Labor Day was the last time I was there...
Only one question...WE will be at the Park early Saturday morning, but will Headhunter and crew??? I remember a certain not-quite-dawn-arrival at a not-very-divable-La-Jolla-Wrinkles-dive by a pretty tuckered-out Headhunter not too long ago....hmmmmm...that Karaoke bar at El Galleon might claim another victim....Maybe we should roust them from their morning-after slumbers on the way to the park??? OR ,just have a fantastic dive at 0745 and tell them all about it when they stagger over at 10??...or 11?? (OK, my FOUR questions are...:spaninq: )
I'll look for you on the Express!

LOL! I'll be there this time, I have my own room that I can just go to sleep in any time. Last time I was sleeping in the living room and there was a party going on! So...I actually just had a little LOS (Lack Of Sleep) emergency that morning. :D

Dove Catalina last Saturday, and vis was fair to poor. 25' early on at Little Farnsworth. 15' - 20' at Long Point. 5' at the end of the day ... can't remember the name of the site (near Long Point). Even so, it's better than the 3' I got on the last dive today at Shaw's.

Judging from the vis that Dr. Bill was reporting in the Dive Park last week, this may be the best place to dive at this time.
