Is people implying that there is something controversial about over-sized bungee wings? :dontknow:

Tis a work of beauty...I tell you...

although for true redundancy and increased lift capacity, you can always bolt 2 of them on...

would look fine fine fine with an AIR2 installed.

Better to get a double-bladder wing with double bungee :D

(and, of course, double Air2)

That is a seriously bad strategy.

If you bungee a bag of that size on the side of your tank, you will create tremendous drag on the side of the tank. I will make swimming very awkward and inefficient. That is why I prefer to carry two 1,500 lb bags, one on each side. It balances things out much better. It is also much easier to rig two bags to a bus-like object. You do have to carry a lot of rope as well, but if you have one bag near the front and one near the back, it is much easier to balance.

Try it and see if you don't like it better.

True, but if you take out a loan and buy a pair of force fins you will not even notice the drag with all the extra propulsion you have gained...you may even be able to pull that bus out of a cave due to all the extra air you will have saved from using said fins...

I think at this point we should either close this thread or move it to Whine & Cheeze ...

With apologies to Wallace Stevens:

"..downward to Darkness, on extended wings"

Sleep well little thread.... (I hope)

Before it is moved, let the record reflect that Air2's and their ilk stink on ice. :)

Obviously the problem here is that you are trying to play hockey with an alternate air source. In this case I believe the verdict would be operator error.

Sleep tight AIR2 thread, don't let the bed bugs bite.

For those of you who are sad to see this thread die, don't despair. As is true of almost all ScubaBoard threads of this ilk, before long someone will come across it, read the first couple of posts, and then write a response, the substance of which has already been talked to death. The thread will be revived and will soon be going strong again.

Who would like to see a tank explode...
