To all divers,

I am getting my first dive equipment. Am considering Hollis or ScubaPro.

Hollis DC1 212 or ScubaPro MK25 S600.

Anyone care to feedback to me the above two reviews??

Thanks

Scubapro MK25/G250V.

It's quite a bit more $ than most everything else, doesn't really like icy water, but it breathes wonderful, lasts a lifetime, and is a breeze to service.

I've been diving a similar rig (MK20/G250) for the last 15-20 years, and wouldn't change it for anything. I actually standardized my whole family on this setup.

Never dove the Hollis but it seems to be quality gear. I have the MK25/S600 Personally I like the MK17/G250V over it. It is a little bigger but to me feels like its a better breather. There truthfully is almost no difference and you trully have to pay attention when switching. For the MK17/G250V is better as it can be dove any where. Also if your not just stuck on those two brands I have been hearing great Praise for the HOG regs. I have not dove them But 2 people I dive with do. And they supposedly work great and 1/2 the price
