Thank God my kids are now adults, and my favorite passtime is spoiling their kids rotten and then giving them back to their parents!:D

My grandson is getting a drum set for Christmas!

1. Jaws
2. Saving Private Ryan
3. Band of Brothers (HBO mini series)
4. 300
5. [-]Message in a Bottle[/-] The Matrix

  1. Sullivan's Travels (Don't leave the planet without seeing this Preston Sturges classic)
  2. To Have and Have Not (Bogart and Bacall together for the first time)
  3. Head Over Heels [AKA Chilly Scenes of Winter] (Best with the original ending)
  4. My New Partner [French Title: Les Ripoux] (Pray for it to come out on DVD)
  5. Annie Hall ('Nough said)

Grand Prix (because it's about F1)
Le Mans (greatest car movie of all time)
Bachelor Party (just plain hilarious)
THX 1138 (great writing and symbolism, before Lucas sold out)
The Abyss (which is what really put CG on the map, 1989)

1) Braveheart - great story
2) BlackHawk Down - great story, even if events unacknowledged
3) Open Range - pretty damn good shoot-out
4) Perfect Storm - I was in NE and saw what it did
5) Captain Ron - come on, haven't you seen it? Hilarious! It could happen...
but five only... that's tough.

jurassic park
the usual suspects
alien
Jet Li's Fearless
28 Days Later
Rocky I/Rambo I

I had to add one more. And Sly gets rocky and rambo for good measure. He is the only celebrity that I can imagine being starstruck over.

And for the record, Tenacious D and the Pick of Destiny may have the catchiest soundtrack ever in the history of the big screen.

Yeah, I'd have to add Braveheart, Alien and the Exorcist (original) to my list, as well. I can't narrow it down to just 5.

Can't believe I didn't have Braveheart on my list. Somebody take my man card...

Oh, and One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. I just love Nicholson. And the Sixth Sense with Bruce Willis. One of the few movies that had a surprise ending that actually caught me by surprise.

I also love the classic horror flicks, like Dracula, the Wolfman, the Mummy, etc.
