What to do with a runaway BCD inflator

Of course. Raising the hose and pressing the deflator mitigates the inflation while the other hand uncouples the LP hose.

Yeah man the valve may pop and you don't realise then seeping air creeps up on you and suddenly you're off up
increasing speed approaching rocket velocity trying to figure out what to do, so first duck dive and kick like heck

Whilst you are figuring it all out, and to arrest the ascent and prevent another pop with the sky above your head
