What do you all do in the winter?
When do you usually pack it in for the season?
Pretty soon it's gonna be too cold for me to get in the water unless I get on top of the drysuit thing ASAP.
I don't want to get out of the water!
*crosses arms and looks stubborn while trying not to shiver*
I'm sure I can dive in the pool to do skills but how boring!

- Take a warm water trip
- Work on fitness -- swimming & gym
- Occasional skills session in the pool -- it's better than nothing
- Occasional winter diving depending on air temps (drysuit)

Dive.... all winter. Nothing like gearing up when it's snowing and there's a layer of ice in the bed of my truck :)

i dive all winter. the water temp will still be nice even tho the airtems will be dropping fast...
and offshore at depth it satys nice till Nov. Dec.
then just get a drysuit or plan days when the air temp is ok.
ive been diving wet every winter.
i remember a few times where my gloves where frozen by the time i got back to my truck...lol..
the bigest thing in cold water is you face, so i got a full face mask..
this fall ill de gettin a unisuit tho so it will all be good

My winter plans are the same as Large Diver - short warm water trip, and I'm also going to take a swimmng class this winter. I also attend NE Aquarium Dive Club meetings, and tend to buy a lot of dive accessories.
