I learned how far back "The Dropoff" is in Madison Blue...and that turning the corner to see it is one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen. :D I'm also still learning how to get through the Half-Hitch without looking like a complete idiot. :rolleyes:
 
My scooter is balanced nose heavy still.
 
On my very last dive I learned to be clearer about hand signals. I meant to ask my buddy if she was cold, but she thought I said that I was cold. When she nodded, I led to our take out point and ascended. She wasn't cold and neither was I. We ended the dive anyway.
 
That shallow water sux for a drift dive... (ie 5-6ft)
 
Learned what a flood feels like when the hose pulls loose from the P-valve. Brrrrrrrrrr.

I learned that a single practice session in a pool makes me a hand-waving, floundering buffoon when I get back into the ocean!
 
..that at 56' depth in the Canadian ocean in Oct with a wetsuit is freezing cold!!!
