In the all the years I've been diving I've never seen an o-ring fail on a yoke setup during a dive. I've replaced them when I set up my gear but I see no reason to change to DIN for that reason. O-ring wear and should be inspected regularly but total failure is rare during a dive.

OMS halogen canister light...... total waste really... if you need a can light, go HID.

Snorkel....

Jacket style BC, too many darn clips and gizmos like a tank banger, split fins, aluminum tanks that I never used, a cheap set of dive gear to start with that I have sold now, a big honking dive knife, and an apt. next to a family with really loud kids that don't know what an "inside" voice is...

May I ask why you regret the volo? That what I have and I think it great. Only problem is that i can't get alot of speed out of it.

Regret the light canon. My third one just crapped out last night after 27 minutes of its first dive ever. Im going to ask the LDS to replace it with a lower level light.

First one lasted 3 dives. Second and third half a dive each.

Tried something called "200 ft. VIZ mask anti-fogger". I only used the smallest amount in the mask. It turned my right eye bright red. Worked no better than spit. I also find spit to be an excellent value. Been using it for 29 years.
