I've got a very few stamps like that in my book.
If I had to guess there are a few still out there with them but probably not many...and you would have to ask.
Sort of like passports that don't get stamped anymore
I don't think that is true. I don't take my logbook on day boats, so never ask though I often hear they have stamps available. Initially, I only looked at my older logs. Looking at newer logs, I think I have stamps from all the liveaboards I have been on as well as several more day boats. Just ask.

And many, many more

I'm a new diver with only 12 dives to date. I started using the Padi app, but see how that could be a problem in the future. I don't want to have the paper any more, but maybe I'll regret that one day...

Logging every dive, mostly to run stats on SAC rate and keep track of weighing.

Seems like all the education apps have it built in now. The problem I had with this was I started all my stuff with SDI and just recently I started taking SSI. So now I have my stuff in SDI and SSI... with a lower number of dives that manageable but later on that would get really annoying if say I did PADI or NAUI and had to transfer all that stuff again.

And the apps seem to mostly ask the same stuff... but not exactly.

So at least the paper has a bit of consistency to it.

One challenge I am having at the moment is that for some reason my Oceanic App and my G3 didn't record the same information... the G3 was missing about 10 minutes worth of dive. I am sure it was operator error but now the logs in Oceanic and LogTrak are a bit off.

But my binder is solid. =)

I don't recall if it was this thread or another but someone recommended the program subsurface which seems to be Mac and PC compatible. That may be a decent long-term digital storage option.

reading the previous posts and all the issues divers have had over the years with cloud based logs, one would most likely also use paper logs, if only as a back up.

I log all of my dives electronically. The only exception were my first 4 OW cert dives (those were paper, then added later).

I really like having everything in an app. I like getting lifetime stats, and all the other things you get by having everything in software.

I use MacDive as my main log. I sync it to iCloud and will export a backup every few months. I also have the shearwater app for my Teric and Oceanic+ for my AWU

I'm actually working on making my own logging app now that has all the features I wished others have had. One feature will be scanning paper logs to add the records into the app mostly automatically.

I did for a long time for my own dives but now I just log the family dives. The random ones I do solo I don’t.

I only recently started logging and I regret not starting sooner. Not for any certificates, just that there're about 30 lost dives and I'd like to know exactly how many I have and where they all were. The difference between 30 and 60 dives is huge compared to 1000 and 1030 dives.

I paper log training dives or when I change equipment so I can track weighting. I also track special travel so I have a record, otherwise I just use the Shearwater app.

I do. It's not like I'm writing them down in a book anymore. Super easy to sync and download my computer to Subsurface, so I can track trends and look back on dives and reminisce when I'm bored.
