Ok... is there some kind of cream, or wipe I should be using? Because that left me a bit...raw

I guess you could re-use them.. but I don't think that's recommended 🤣🤣

It takes practice, no lube needed, but some people use something to break down the glue after the fact. Can't remember what it is though. I just peel it off.
Perhaps the OP all those years of condom use should have put them on himself (humor) 😀. Yes you roll it down and yes it sticks REALLY well and yes you can either roll if off when your done and almost shed a tear or wait for a hot shower. 😀

Its more getting it on... it sticks to the first thing it touches, so I don't see how I can roll it down...

edit: I think larger size for the catheder is the key
Ok.. so the graphics are what they are. I take my limp member and try to get the head as far into the end as possible. Then just roll down and give it a nice squeeze. Sometimes I do pretty good but sometimes not. It really doesn't matter too much. The trick is have the right size and be limp. You dont want to pull skin back or anything, just try to drop it in there as it would normally hang, head 1st. It's a little tricky in the beginning, but you'll get it.

I just pull mine off, have never had an issue. @Tracy (and others) swear they are more sensitive and they use something to break the glue down? I linked him here to maybe chime in about an easier removal.

I thought the Prep was to *increase* adhesion. Useful if skin oils come to bear quickly or perhaps it's quite hot on a surface interval. Is that correct? If so, I'm not sure that's what @twistypencil needs.

I just put a bit of sunscreen or lotion near the top to prevent the glue from grabbing quite so high.

I use that Skin Prep wipe. It isn't clear to me from the marketing descriptions what it really does. It says it provides "protection between tape and skin" and at the same time helps adhesion, which one might read as contradictory. I do feel it helps with adhesion. Skin protection or reduced irritation--I'm not sure I experienced that.

I've tried with and without multiple times. The skin prep pads are kind of the best of both worlds, and now I use them religiously. They certainly help with initial adhesion, and if you're donning your catheter later in the morning instead of fresh out of the shower, they certainly help with stiction. I don't even need to use the wideband catheters if I use the skin prep pads, and the ultraflex pack smaller and are slightly easier to remove. At the end of the day, removal stress can vary, but when using the skin prep it is a little easier to grab the back edge and roll it off without too much tugging. A fresh manscape also helps.

what happens if you're hard?

What all of these creams, touching, rubbing, etc., everything is going to get hard in standing attention.
