So you use the skin prep wipes BEFORE putting on the catheder, not after?

Also the wipes make it easier to remove, when its time?
Correct. Getting it off at the end of the day isn't something I have struggled with. If it is really stuck, a warm shower helps it peel right off.

Did you by chance attempt to remove it very soon after installing? That glue is ferocious. I typically have mine on all day and it comes off fairly easily.

I have had the problem of the catheter sticking to itself on subsequent dives. After the first dive if you are moving around and doing stuff, sweating and you get some retraction the catheter unsticks and moves forward. When you dive and the suit compresses it really can stick to itself and cause a blowout.
It looks like wrong setup to me.
You need to pull skin all the way forward.

it seems like a foley catheter would be less hassle...

that is, of course, once you've gotten used to snaking a tube up your willie and then orally inflating the balloon. and for you ladies, no more annoying cup.

I did remove it soon after installing. I was checking fit and was wanting to try things out before I did something awkward in public.

There is your primary issue. If you are doing a quick fit to check size, you gotta powder the heck out of it first. The glue is aggressive.

That explains things, because after that experience I really questioned my life decisions.
Also those wipes that were posted are 2 different wipes. Skin Prep makes it adhere better by prepping the skin - hence the name, Adhesive remover breaks down the adhesive to be able to remove easier - hence the name. I have used both of these for years in the medical field, they work quite well.
