I mostly travel to dive and I dive when I travel if diving is possible. I contact the diving shops via email and we exchange.
I think that you did not read one of the previous posts. I mail or send via whatsapp all the information before going to the shop. SSI or not.All your previous certs show on your most recent dive number card? How does a dive operator access this, do they have to go to an SSI website? Maybe you only need Advanced Adventurer (AOW) and nitrox. I find this a bit difficult to believe.
Search on Dody DM????
We've read about @Dody DM
Why should they be concerned? I have only have good to very good encounters and relationship with dive shops peopleYes but at least most of the diver operations around the world have not. They might be concerned after reading some of Dody's posts.
I rather like reading them though for the adventures he gets up to.
The SSI cards have a QR code on them that goes to the SSI website, you enter your DOB, and your SSI credentials can be found. All your previous certs show on your most recent dive number card? Yeah. That sounds weird. Per SSI, I am a Century Diver. I see that in the app, but I don’t have a physical card for it. My AOW card is a recognition cert, and it lists the 4 specialties I took to qualify, but I don’t see how, or why, a card recognizing 100 dives would have a link to all his certs. All your previous certs show on your most recent dive number card?
