skittish is the best description of their behavior. we observed another large bull today cruising off the the duane @ 125FT(pics tonite but no shark!). unless your in the sand/rubble @ 125FT and wait patiently, you have only a slim chance of getting a worthy capture. only rarely since the duane was sunk I have seen a bull shark off the sand and on the wreck superstructure. likewise on it's sister ship, the bibb,,,,,,,,,,,,,

I've not had many opportunities to dive the Bibb and have not seen Bulls there either except from a distance. I would bet that would be different if there was spearfishing, that is certainly the case on the Castor in Boynon Beach. The only time I've seen Bulls close up was after a kill of a Cobia or other large fish. I'm not advocating hunting, simply making an observation on fish behavior.

Good diving, Craig

Beautiful photos of one of my favorite wrecks, thanks Tim. After I read reefman's intro, I was hoping you had caught the Bull Sharks. I have seen them on the Duane, especially on descent, but they have always been quite skittish and have kept their distance during the dive

Thank you scubadada. I could not get anywhere near them.

Sweet Pictures! It's been years since I've been on the Duane. Do you mind if a save/use that first picture of the down line?

It gives me hope that there's warmer weather ahead, since everything is still frozen up here.
