Uncle Pug:
Yeah... I'm going to look real purdy in my bright yellow/royal blue/black O'neil 3m, NWGD's DiveRite emplazoned trans-harness, clear frame three window mask, snorkle and the Apollo split fins Mike Ferarra gave me. Not to mention a yoke conversion on my DS4. :D

Can we get a list of who you'll be with?

I'll start the bidding at $10 for the blackmail photos!

Hmmmm.... I only have room for one pair of fins... which to take... which to take...

The Apollo Biofins or the SP Jets with spring straps...

Hmmmm....

The intinerary came in a Fax so I would have to type it all in.... hmm... I'll work on it. If I can get internet access I will try to post daily both to this thread for comment as well as a closed thread set up in the Fiji Forum.

OK... stop packing... start working on the typing the itinerary....

Cool thx. I'll look for it in the morning. Have a safe trip!

Thursday 10/28: Fly from SEA to LAX.... leave LAX at 11:30PM for Nadi Fiji
Friday 10/29: 1/2 hour into the flight
Saturday 10/30: cross the intl date line... arrive in Nadi early Saturday morning.
Check in to hotel and then off on a day trip to Mamanuca (I don't see anything on the itinerary about food for Saturday!)
Sunday 10/31: fly to Savusavu ~ Koro Sun Resort
adventure: Salt Lake River kyak trip then dinner at resort.
Monday 11/1: breakfast then 1 tank dive with Koro Sun followed by lunch and then 1 tank dive with JM Cousteau Resort followed by a presentation at the JMCR and then dinner at JMCR. At 9pm we board the Tui Tai Adventure Cruise boat and spend the night onboard.
Tuesday 11/2: breakfast followed by a dive at Namena Marine Park and then a Bar-B-Q at Moody's Namena Resort. An afternoon dive with Tui Tai and then depart on the Tui Tai for Koro Island (3 hour cruise) where we experience the Island Night( with food?) at Nabouna Village (I'm scared.) Sleep it off back aboard the Tui Tai.
Wednesday 11/3: 2 tank morning dives from Koro Island followed by lunch cooked in a Lovo while we play volleyball and see who has a PFO. :D Adventure for the survivors of the volleyball and Lovo: Hike to ancient fortified village. Survivors of the fortified village will depart on the Tui Tai for Garden Island Resort and dinner there (4 hours cruise.) Spend the night at GIR.
Thursday 11/4: breakfast and then 2 tank dives at the Somosomo/Rainbow reef dive sites. Back for lunch and another adventure of some sort. Evening presentation and dinner at GIR.
Friday 11/5: breakfast (I'm putting the meals in because they are a very important part of the itinerary IMO... remember until this morning I though I might be sleeping in the bush and begging for food. :D After breakfast 2 tank dives in Northern Taveuni/Qamea with Qamea Resort followed by lunch at the Matangi Island Resort. Travel to Maravu Plantation Resort and hang out until dinner. The note on the itinerary at this point says, "Themed Evening at Maravu Plantation - Entertainment, Cocktails, Din..." and I can't read the rest but I'm sure it is dinner.
Saturday 11/6: Fly from Taveuni to Nadi then boat to Beqa Lagoon Resort. Rest of day is leisure... I think I might need some leisure at this point. Just typing this I'm getting a cramp in my back! No mention of food... hmmm...
Sunday/Monday 11/7-8: Diving in Beqa Lagoon. Nights at the Beqa Lagoon Resort. Again no mention of food... one can only hope... maybe I will be begging after all.
Tuesday 11/9: Boat back to Nadi in the morning and then hang out all day until departure for LAX in the evening. Again, no mention of food... well... I'm sure I'll manage.

I'm taking along a bunch of little girl dresses and shoes to give away. I sure hope I can give them away toward the beginning of the trip!

You better hope you can otherwise the looks on the customs agents will be priceless when they are going through your bags. You don't look like a grandfather yet.
;) Take some pictures of the family and the NW with you to show people. They love that. Even post cards are welcome.

Hmmm... seems AirPacific has a dress code... and it doesn't include shorts, t-shirts and sandals. I guess I can deal with hanging around SEA for a couple of hours and a 2.5 hour flight followed by hanging around LAX for another 4.5 hours and then a 10 hour flight while wearing pants, collared shirt and dress shoes with socks(?!?) but I would sure hate to spend 12 days dressed that way!

Anyone know what the real deal is?

Did you call them? Most of the time a dress code is for non rev passengers.
