Any rechargeable batteries, items containing rechargeable batteries, and standard batteries must be in your carry-on. Lock any rechargeable batteries if possible and place all other batteries in containers or individual baggies so they are secure and not loose. I also recommend not placing them all in one place. As Photographers with many batteries, it's better to make it seem like you don't have as many batteries as you actually do. I hope that makes sense. Anything fragile or camera equipment goes in your carry-on as well. That's also why I suggest those extra pockets in your clothing if needed.are camera strobes, housings included in equipment that must be checked in the Philippines?
We will have two large checked bags, one with equipment and one with clothes. But we will carry on camera and computers. I have a big beach bag that can hold everything but the kitchen sink, and it will be my personal item. I think we're bringing a laptop too (just in case work calls) and my hubby will have that as his personal item. Are most people just doing 2 larger checked bags and a personal bag and skipping the "carry on".
Last time, we didn't have any problems with Philippines Air, only with CEBU the inter Island Air, but that was 8 yrs ago.Philippines Airlines allows 50lbs checked for free and in very small print 7kg (15lbs) for a carry on. Does anyone know if they actually weigh our carry ons?
