Made 2 dive on the Oriskany first thing Saturday morning. She is sitting upright laying North/South. The top of the tower is about 65 feet, flight deck is around 135, sand at 217. We had around 65' visibility. You could see the tower from about 15' down. Pretty strong current all the way to the ship. No fish yet. Two of the best dives of my life.

hey frostologist, How many diver's were out there this weekend?

There were 5 on our boat, we got on site around 0800. The Wet Dream out of P'cola showed up about 1000 with 15 or so on board but i dont think half of them made the structure. 1 other boat with 2 people and that was it. Maybe 15 people total hit the structure. We really thought it would be a parking lot.

We are Planing a trip to Her on Fri. and Sat. Weather permiting.
Call Me at 251.968.4279 if You would like to go on one of these or other trips.

We're hittin' it June 10th with MBT Divers (they're booked that day). What were the temps at surface and at the flight deck?

Thanks,

Richard
