The "Bird Goby" above is in fact not a goby but a Triplefin.
Diving yesterday, temps have dropped to 25C, although last week I was informed that it was 24C, so the 5mm is back into service.
Had a 79 minute dive on Inch 2 and an 89 minute dive on Car Cemetery with Vanjie. Due to several reasons including the Dubai 7s happening this weekend we saw very few other boats, and apart from three other divers on Inch 2 there appeared to be very little activity
Surface conditions were flat calm but visibility was around 2-3M below, this dropped to less than a meter when we were swamped by hundreds of fish on Inch 2, I had even taken the optimistic view I could shoot wide angle, and since I had a buddy today she carried my D70 with the 10-17 Tokina lens, while I used the D300 with 105 and +10 diopter. I only took 5 shots with the D70!
Photographed quite a few new nudis that I have not seen before on this wreck, some very very small, and few laying eggs which is a great sign.
