Strange day weather wise, rain in Dubai when I left and rain in the mountains and very overcast with an offshore wind. Fortunately conditions were ok and ended up diving Inch 2 and Car Cemetery.

Another Dendrodoris denisoni, around 10cm ... bit long to manage with the 85mm lens, it was originally finishing laying eggs (white ribbon) which is what directed me to it.

Temperature still 23C at the bottom, nice and snug in my 5mm semi dry plus hood.

I was in Mussandam on Friday, diving around Octopus Rock and Ras Marovi. Temperature between 30-40m was 26c. 5mm wetsuit was more than enough, tempted by the 3mm

Another strange weekend for weather. Spent a lot of it just cruising around the sand areas off the main reefs of Dibba Rock and Hole in the Wall. Was glad to see the Tiger Shrimps have returned to Inch II though.

Nice one Stewart :D

How big was that sea hare?

Got back late from Egypt last Thursday and needed a restful weekend, hope to be back in the water next weekend though.

Sea Hare was about 8 or 9cm. I got lost in the sand soloing on the South side of Dibba Rock - found quite a few interesting things the best of which was the Sea Hare. Off to Club O in Anilao next Sunday.

Oh enjoy Club O .... been trying to contact them with no luck .... very envious.

Unfortunately too busy right now deregistering one company in RAK after registering a new one here in Dubai, I need a week off now but still have plenty to do. I had half a plan to do a quick trip to Anilao, might end up going in July though.

I just contacted Boy Venus directly and got replies straight away Jose Solon Venus <jsvenus@gmail.com>

I can forward you the schedule of rates if you want. It was a last minute thing for me, and its the height of the Nudi season as well :)

Hi Stewart I have a provisional booking with Crystal Blue in July, so much going on right now here with de-registering my company in RAK and starting up in DHCC and getting the new office fit out going, might not be the best time for me to fly off and dive.

Enjoy anyway I am going to have to see how the weather works out in July.

Inch 2 and Car Cemetery today, nothing wildly exciting to report, but temp on Inch 2 is still 23C whereas CC was 24C

Quite a few crocodile fish around at both locations

Still 5mm weather even though air temps are hitting 40C, Inch 1 was 22C (30M), Inch 2 23C (20M) and Car Cemetery 25C (16M), couple of dives on my doubles which was fun, few camera issues due to a disconnected strobe cable, but carried on with a single strobe on Dive 2 and had all working for dives 3 and 4.

Great weekend at Divers Down :D
