Why waste time with Negative comments? The sun does not hurt our Force Fins. Other fins will melt or reshape. We heat treat Force Fins in an oven for 16 hours at 240 degrees.I've used Force fins for many years to swim and dive, and have had the same thing happen to me with my swimming fins. My tears occurred near the foot pocket. Two times and just my swimming fins. I did put a lot of miles on them swimming 2 times a week, 1.5 miles, so they did accumulate the wear and tear. I have one solo swim fin left, along with another swimming and a diving pair. I do like them ! By the way, Bob only has about 150 pairs left and they are the last ones to be made. And, don't leave anything out in the sun, except for making tea. The sun will eventually destroy it.
Thank you for putting this in my face.My Flying Force Fins have split as well. Very sad that there’s no repair.
It's called INFLATION and the downfall of US manufacturing.Do we mean "about 150 pairs left", and THE END for Force fins ?
Wasn’t meant to put it in your face. I’ve been a big fan and have recommended Force Fins for years. I’m just sad that they can’t be fixed because I really prefer to dive them over my other fins.Thank you for putting this in my face.
I'm sorry that you think it's a negative comment. It's just what occurred to me. I've been a fan of you and your fins for many years and have bought numerous pairs. I still have two pair that I use and travel with around the world. Hate that you are having to close. BTW, I've had other fins split. My last Scuba Pro Jets split at the foot pocket. Why waste time with Negative comments? The sun does not hurt our Force Fins. Other fins will melt or reshape. Dan, I appreciate your support. We have had a 02% warranty issue over the past 40 years. Let's focus on the positive, and it's not our fault that inflation took us down.I'm sorry that you think it's a negative comment. It's just what occurred to me. Thanks. I'm touchy about our situation and not happy that INFLATION took us down. Look around, America; we are not the only ones. I am sorry to say America is in significant decline.Wasn’t meant to put it in your face. I’ve been a big fan and have recommended Force Fins for years. get rk3 !Aloha from Hawaii. I have 4 pairs of Force Fins. I love them as I snorkel/Swim 3 - 5 hours per week in the ocean here. They stop my legs, feet and toes from cramping. However, this is the 3rd fin to tear in exactly the same spot. Is there someway I can fix them? I would appreciate all the help I can get. I am new to The Board so please let me know if I have screwed something up here or messed up the protocol.
Mahalo for the help, Kathi
