The easy recover on the upstroke fools people into feeling they aren't effective, but I've tested them against the ScubaPro Go Sports when flutter kicking and they are essentially equal in speed and power while being more compact and comfortable. And they are amazing when used with a butterfly (aka dolphin) kick.
To a point, most people dont use a power up stroke, so this fin did away with it.

They are fun doing butterfly...but, they are slower than any normal fin. Again, because most people dont use the up stroke. But I do butterfly kick sets within a normal kick set in master swimming workouts.

It’s kinda funny, but there is nothing on the Force Fin website about them ceasing production.

Maybe, but Bob sent out an email making the announcement. I think there are less than 80 pair left.

They were long the target of derision and ridicule here on SB until split fins took over.

Well then it's a good sign that with many more topics now, ScubaBoard is in great health
so more can share their ideas about things they haven't thought through nor understand
