Elan,

Given your location, call or email GUE Training Directors Bob Sherwood or Dan MacKay. Doing your Fundamentals class with either would be a fantastic experience. Also, if you ever come to Los Angeles, you're welcome to dive with us!

Best,

Best,

Yes Steven , I have got in touch with the shop which organizes the classes here with above mentioned instructors. Everyone gives very good reviews of their classes. They were giving few classes this summer but I was not ready for them yet so most likely I will go with them in the spring. Thanks for your invitation I will definitely make some dives when I come to CA.

I can't say enough great things about Bob Sherwood and Steve Millington (LA Scuba Diving) as instructors. I know that Bob is scheduling some Fundies classes at Dutch Springs in the spring/summer 2010. You can contact Bob about doing some training closer to where you're located or maybe in the Thousand Island area.

If you're ever in the NYC area and need a dive buddy, let me know. :D

Now I have a question for you guys.

Go with all of the above.

I went with TDI's program for my technical training. I was not disappointed with the training, but like any kind of training, its all about the instructor, and how serious or motivated they are to teach you the skills and knowledge you need to make safe tec dives.

That last part is redundant, and also means the same thing.

No it isn't.

Not all diving is underwater.

If it was just TD (Technical Diving), I could be referring to skydiving, springboard diving... nose diving (?), etc..

:D:dork2:
