I don't know about Pink Fins,
But some of my buddies took a poke at my Viking Drysuit.
They were commented how Feminine it loooked at depth.

I pointed out out to them that the RED filtered out in the water making the Viking suit is a Salman color at depth.

So one of my buddies got handy with paint brush and sent me what he thought the suit looked like at depth.

I'm confortable with my feminine side so you decide.

regards

Pretty in Pink

I don't mind pink at all. My mask and snorkel are both pink, and I have pink tank covers. My fins and requlator hoses are yellow. My buddy has never lost me! (He dive is Neon Green!) Anyway, there is absolutley nothing wrong with pink..... its a great color!:D

Oohh can I be an honorary UK member of the SDLPS club??

I know black is the new black as far as you techie guys are concerned, but when you are in a murky dark place, surely something murky or dark is just going to blend in.

Anyway, each to their own I say, live and let live. I do find the instinctive hatred of pink by some of you guys quite funny though. If the kit works, then colour should not be an issue, and if you can get it in a colour you like, then why not?;)

Wear what you like. Don't worry what other people think. I wear pink. And yes I'm a guy! There is nothing wrong with it. Its highly visible and distinct underwater. Go for it.

While I personally belong to the all-black masses, I know many divers (men included) who are big fans of the pink fins. Most of the men claim that they think it prevents other men from stealing their dive gear. :eyebrow: I will say this, in times of low visability, I absolutely LOVE following pink fins! You will stand out in the crowd.

How many /snip/ men here wear pink fins? How many would consider it?

My dive knife is pink. It has the blade style I wanted and I found it in a pawn shop at a very good price. And I can find it if I ever drop it! (or watch it go, if it's deep).

But I think you have to be extra secure in your manliness to dive with a pink knife... I've caught a little flak for it, but good natured.

Pink fins? Probably not. But I'm a penny-pincher, so if the price was right...
