Another good option is TUSA triforce version of the hiflex , first packing supernova and or the TUSA can be even easier by taking them apart, TUSA are a bit shorter than the SP there are good advantages with either over other types of fins
I don’t feel so, they look closer but the more pronounced blad angle of the S tek changes the performance feel.Wouldn't the S-Tek blades be a more apples-apples comparison for the Tri-Force? (and Super-Nova to HiFlex-Pro)
Thanks - I will likely go with the supernova. Few of members on one of the threads here indicated that the foot pocket sizes are the same for the Gorillas and Supernova/S-Tek, so I was hoping for confirmation on that. Where I am in right now, I don't think there are any dive shops where I can go check out the supernovas.Supernovas are very strong and fast with flutter kick.
The pocket is completely different in my view bw. GoSport and Supernova. GoSport are open in the front. Supernova are closed. The fit will depend on the dive shoes.
Supernova and S-Tek use the same MFS pockets.
I never understood the whole idea behind the S-Tek. fin... small and stiff blade with the big footpocket. They should have made the small size pockets fit the bigger blade and called it a day making it really "one size fits all" solution instead of doubling the SKUs, production costs and inventory overhead.
