My wife was looking for a neutral to slightly positive fin and loves the Tecline Lightjets (she dives only wet). I have not tried them myself but they are visibly less stiff than Scubapro Jetfins or xDeep EX1 (which are the ones I dive dry and wet respectively) which makes them appropriate for recreational diving but probably not ideal for diving with lots of gear.
thanks for this! i do recreational only and therefore dont need something too stiff (that may compromise on comfort and versatility). hence why i was a little apprehensive about the deep 6 eddy despite stellar reviews as it seems a little too stiff for recreational.

I recommend OMS Slipstreams.

I do own both Deep 6 Eddy and Slipstreams, slipstreams are better in propulsion where Eddy is lighter.

I also own pair of Techline lightjets as my wife dives with them, they identical to Deep 6 Eddy in every aspect.

how do the teclines compare to the slipstreams in terms of stiffness/propulsion, comfort and weight?

i was looking at the slipstreams as well but heard some feedback about the uncomfortable foot pocket. also dont like how they have no thumb loops.

Both Tecline and Deep 6 Eddy has softer form when compared to Slipstreams. Therefore OMS will provide best propulsion.

It must be said that OMS is made for 2x4 rather than human feet, so it is least comfortable amongst all of them.

I don’t remember when did I dive without scooter last time so no factor for me, but I do know that I wouldn’t want to swim against heavy current with Tecline or Deep 6 fins.
