It was 67F at Spanish Rocks, which wasn't too bad for me, but everyone's different as far as their cold tolerance. I have a little extra insulation

Vis was decent for the first dive (10-12 maybe) and a little worse on the second dive. This was my first dive there and I was impressed. Lots of wildlife, saw stone crabs, lots of fish, a small nurse shark (3' or so). Nice meeting everyone there and I look forward to diving there again.

Had breakfast with frogman 5,I went for the pancakes and sausage option.
Not to b,right an idea diving so soon after the pancakes or even having pancakes,had plenty of gas on my first dive.
Still was great to get back into the water here even though bit cooler than last year was here in July.
Water temps on par with what I had when left Spain,so no big shock for me even managed to remove some of my layers for seconed dive.
Felt much more comfortable on this dive (less gassing)had good look all over the rocks found a lovely big shell but was home to hermit crab so left him/her be.
Viz not at its best so no photos taken.
A good dive for all levels of diver.

Brush and cream-rinse, that belong in dive bag, are now back in their spot in the dive bag

Agreed, the shark was a great find by Giles :yelclap: Lots of new life on the reef that I haven't seen there before.

Tried some spearfishing and shot what was a big hog. :54: Gathered a few stone crab claws as well.

I had a really good time chatting and diving with everyone; Bandit, lil Bit, Duncan, Frog, Jason, NitroxChick, and my buddy Giles/John. NitroxChick, I have your goo btw And Giles - thanks so much for the pics of the Catahoula Dogs They are just too cool. I think we should plan a "zoo" day your place

Hey everyone

Me and my Son had a great time diving Sunday. Wish we would have had more time to meet and see everyone! Maybe next time we can have a cookout at one of the spring's with more social time.

Hey everyone! My husband and I had a fantastic time. It was great meeting everybody. We missed the shark... We did see a baby octopus, though, which was AWESOME! I wish we were going to be here for the turkey fry, but we're heading back to GA on Friday. Thanks for the great dive suggestion! I hope we get to come back soon. MisD - you are welcome to keep the goop, I'm not that crazy about that brand anyhow...otherwise, we could try to meet up.
