You can pay $400 for the week of May 20-27,2006. Or you can own it for $800. Sleeps 2, with kitchen. http://www.bluebeards-castle.com/
Maintenance fee is approx $650/yr. This is a deeded timeshare therefore you can pass it onto your children and theirs, etc...For more info pm me.

Is it too expensive? Which price is too expensive?
Yes, it's fixed week. You'd own the 20th week every
year which would be mid May.

You would be renting it for $57.15/night. I thought that was pretty good.

If you stayed at Bluebeard's, you'd know the answer to that. I spent two nights there last year. We had to leave after the second night and stayed at the Marriott. My opinion of Bluebeard's isn't too high.

I think you misunderstood, "Why so inexpensive."

I sure did misunderstand...sorry about that.
I'm just not interested in paying the maintenance fee anymore.

Sorry to hear that. Hope you still enjoyed the island or the diving. What happened when you stayed at the resort? If you don't mind my asking. Everyone here might be wondering now.

Bluebeard's castle on the hill, above Chalotte Amalie? When I lived there it was very nice.

Yep, the one on the hill. I loved St. Thomas and the diving was great with Blue Island Divers. I would definately go back to St. Thomas. The problems we had with Bluebeards was the the staff was rude, the room wasn't in the greatest condition, there were nights when none of the restaurants were opened, there were days when the bar was closed (really sucked when you wanted to lounge by the pool). My in-laws own a time share at Bluebeards and that is why we stayed there.
