Hey Socal!
TonyC kind of started it so I'll open it up:

Where are you diving this weekend? Any good plans?

I'll be on the BottomScratcher Monday out of LB. Can't wait! :dazzler1:
Weather is looking better and better each day.
Yay!

I'll be at Crescent in Laguna on Sunday doing some DIR skills practice. All you boat divers are spoiled! ;)
Dive safe.

Well, 90%+ of my dives are shore dives, but this weekend, see'ns how ittsa holiday 'n all, I d'cided to take the plunge so to speak, and go boat div'n. :eyebrow:

I'm going out on the Truth out of Santa Barbara, to the Northern Channel Islands for Saturday, Sunday and Monday. (yawn) ho-hum, it's a boat dive, oh well, it's sump'n to do on the weekend.

Heading to Pt Dume Sat. with a buddy that hates beach dives and long surface swims. He said that he was looking forward to it jst not the sand. Last dive he loved at Leo Carrilo S.
Hope the huge swell NOAA is predicting doesn't srew the vis!

Sea ya! Jeff

Sunday, beach diving in Laguna with South Coast Divers. My 25th dive (woo-hoo!). Nobody else showed up to dive last Sunday (boo-hoo!), but Rich & Kathy stopped by our meeting place at the mall on their way to work on Rich's boat, and Rich loaned me "The Last Dive", a books on tape set. The story is totally captivating, and I've already listened to the entire 6 hours. It was a nice consolation prize for not being in the water. Not the happiest story in the world, but a pretty fascinating look into the psyche of extreme divers.

Lets hope conditions allow us to dive. SW swell will be increasing over the weekend along with some NW wind swell. The really bad news is there something even bigger coming right before next weekend :(

Redundant Bech Sat am setting a float for a class and then heading west
Bottom Scratcher Sunday
Bottom Scratcher Monday

Cat Dive Park Monday with wifie. Slowly getting her back in the groove. Was there last weekend - very mellow. Hopefully it will go well again this weekend so we can start hitting the boats together this summer.
