Divers (myself excluded) see them fairly regularly in some areas of Puget Sound. Seacrest Cove 2 and Three Tree North being two popular places.

There's another thread about them actually, I think it's in the PNW Orca Bait forum (but don't yell if that's wrong).
 
The next issue of Advanced Diver Magazine is going to have a nice article and some cool pictures of Six-Gills written by their esteemed Seattle correspondent. Should be out just after the first of the year sometime.
