Maybe a mod will come by and delete the off topic posts because we're not in the pub... its happened recently
We're not that off topic. Maybe a few little things here and there but mostly about or relating to the purchase of SS drysuits, gloves, prices, etc.

Ok getting back on topic. I noticed on my recent dives that the suspender buckles really dig into my hips to the point where it's painful. Anyone else have this issue? I never noticed it before but maybe it's also because my new undersuit has buckles and they sit on top of each other... I took out the suspenders from the undersuit and will check again.

Well my suit arrived and it seems to fit well. I will need to trim my neck slightly, but hopefully that won’t be that bad. I only tried on the 150 under suit, but it is great. I don’t anticipate using the 250 much, but I have it if needed.

My drysuit jet fins also arrived today. They are xl, and the installed boot is a 43 in case that helps anyone figure out sizing. All that is left is to get to the water.

Nice beard! Those kubi gloves look tighter than a rookie hooker. Do you braid or tie your beard while diving? Mine goes everywhere if I don't.

The under gloves are the right size. Definitely will need to size up the outer glove, but I think it was your post who said Showa are a little shorter wider fingers?

Yeah, showa 660 are for shorter fingers. I used a small clamp to hold the material in place while I pulled it onto the ring. You'll figure it out. It's not complicated, just a pita with the stiffer material.

I wear a hood all of the time. I have also done smaller rubber bands down it to help tame it when switching to a necklace second stage too.

@NDonahue not to hijack your own thread, would you mind telling why are you selling your drysuit?
Lost weight. The suit is perfect and I will order the exact replacement (maybe with some color this time); that’s why I’m not trying to bundle the kubi gloves.

If someone can use it, make an offer. It’s in like-new condition and I’m tossing in the new silicone neck seal so it’s ready to cut to size. Happy to actually replace the neck seal before shipping, but it’s good practice.

There are quite a few of us that fluctuate size. One of my buddies is keeping his original Seaskin for fat times and is going to order a 2nd for times when he is thinner. My girth doesn't grow much, but I've def thought about a fat version of my suit when I'm not minding what I shove down my food hole.
