Perhaps people asked for it? From the feedback here I see that some people want it. Just look at the fins so why not for regulators?
It's an old industry joke. But yes, colors do sell, especially in some markets and with some segments.

I thought about that but IMHO not really innovative. Just a fancy schmancy BCD. Like it or not, the Avelo is innovative. SP just produce high quality “me too” stuff.
