Scuba Limericks

[wetrat]

On weekends I dive in the rain
With visions of kelp in my brain
After diving in runoff
I curse as I cough
At those who pour crap in the drain

A cultured rat with a horrible cough
Was feeling mighty pissed off
'Cause the damn toxic waste
Left a bad aftertaste
So instead he listened to Rachmaninoff

As I dove in the toxic sea
Among chemicals, poop, and pee
A warmth like I’ve never felt
My wetsuit began to melt
Should have stayed home and watched TV

For the water was looking quite brown
In my pocket I discovered
(and I have yet to recover!)
That it wasn't a sea cucumber I'd found!

Gnawing on stuff and teasing the cat
But while under water
I scare the sea otters

Poop in the ocean really does suck!
