Da Meteorologically Challenged Beano

My weekend has gone down the crapper. Trying to get the design done, the people who had the skills either haven't been available, or due to my new job, I haven't. Holly tried to do the design, but didn't understand what I wanted as the design. I will be doing the shirts as soon as I get the design finished. If I have to pay S&H myself, I'll do it. Another thought, was to go through cafepress. I need to look at prices, though. With two screaming kids behind me and 5 minutes to get this typed before I have to leave the house, I am SERIOUSLY looking forward to this weekend! The few times I have tried to relax, nothing has worked. Either the PC keeps crashing "a la Bill Gates", or the fact that in the last week, two residents have died on my wing, 5 within the facility. We have a LOT of rez who are expected to pass any time. Tis the nature of the beast. I am looking to change to working at an assisted living facility this week as well. The pay is less, but the work is less stress. The rez there are low dependency and mobile. I may still be able to stay where I am on an on-call basis. I'll know more by Thursday.
Lil B will be camping with us on Friday, but he may not be with us on Saturday so I can "unwind" Conch style!

Weather sounds like its gonna be ideal. Thanks be to the meteorlogical beano for that.

Hate to hear work is hectic Ken, but hopefully it will level off for you. But it sounds like we could all use this weekend to unwind, especially by doing it "Conch style.*"

*Conch Style- An olde world term, referencing a hereto unwitnessed tradition in which a group of divers (see also: Rabid Otters, Colombian Otters, Colombian River Otters, Drunk and Disorderly, Coconut Bras, Grass Skirts, Mao of The Dive, Rum Tote, Rumrunner, and Steve.) dive then in the wee hours of the morn, drink themselves silly. Also see Conch Style in the Kama Sutra i.e.- Shell on Shell.

and now H2Andy will provide translation from the Ken:

there ain't no tshirts

:10:

I think I'll bring a good book, since I'm too young for rum. But, I'll enjoy it all somehow!

Also, it looks like I might be getting a truck of my very own on Thursday! It was going to wait until my birthday in a few weeks, but very little time around it would work, and this Thursday will, so I might be getting it this Thursday. 1999 ford ranger, 4cyl, automatic. 45k miles on the odo (very low for a 99!). Just checked out by a mechanic. I'm pretty excited, because I won't have to get a ride to the dive or borrow my parent's car.

sweet, Jah .... can't wait to see it
