Well just to update, i might make it and Christina wont make it. If i come it'll probably be for the day.

I received my schedule last night, and my location assignment. I am on an easy wing where most of the residents are independent care. Depending on how many assistants are on duty, I will have 5-12 residents to care for. There are definitely some people there that don't pull their weight on the job, but that's why I picked this field. I do my share of work and then some. I had six more residents compliment me, (one of them is a Doctor). Also two nurses were very happy to see a better personality show up. They all said they were very happy to have someone like me on staff. Overall, this is becoming a very fulfilling job. The lifting, bending and staying on the feet all day is a bit rough, but nothing I haven't adapted to before.
I have my schedule for the next two weeks and I am DEFINITELY off work for the megadive. The Admin said I could make up the off days during my weekend if I wanted to. They are fairly shorthanded. This weekend I am supposed to be off work, but am working Sunday. Good thing I'll be getting a check before the megadive. I may need to get the tanx viz'd.

Friday of Megadive will be hectic for me. I will have all 3 kidz with me, and in such a small vehicle, will be making multiple trips to get gear to site. I also have a dental appointment in the morning. I will make the first trip to get camp setup, about 8am, then leaving for the appointment. Second trip will be cooking gear, hopefully with just me n Jake in the car. That should be about 2pm. The last trip will be accessories; chairs, trebuchet, dive gear,... (why did the room suddenly get quiet?) ...and anything else we absolutely NEED for the weekend.
I am hoping to be onsite after 5pm for the night. Tent setup, for those who have not been there before is,... Once you enter the circle of the driveway, everything up to the dive table next to the pavillion is ours. I'll draw and scan a map of the camp area soon. I am also working on t-shirt design tomorrow. I'lll be getting with JahJah this weekend during photoshoot. I will also start a new thread JUST for the t-shirts with the design n such on it. I hope to have that functional and ready to order by monday.

Speaking of photoshoot, I finally have a working SLR camera again! My 135mm 2.8f lense isn't in yet, but I can stll shoot with my trust 50mm 2.8 I'm so hapy to have a camera again! I only have one roll of film though


I'm hoping to leave school at 2:10, and leave my house around 3pm, to get out there before 4. Ready to dive by 5 or 5:30

Nope.....Vivitar V3800N. It's a fully manual SLR, I bought it because my meager selection of Pentax K mount lenses will fit on it I will have it at the megadive and expect to shoot several pictures. I love photography!

Alas, my job didn't pan out. But still on present job.Grrrrrrr. Great news about the shirts, can't wait to see them. (Photoshoot huh, who's da model?). On another note, this is my first post from my blackberry. Hard to navigate the site, but not impossible. Can't wait to see how this turns out.

I'm hoping to be there by noonish, so if I can help in any way, lemme know. I'll be solo, so I might even need help myself getting my tent up. Will give it a shot solo though, so I can see if I can do it by myself just in case.
