I just don't log dives
While chicken winging out of my BP/W the other day, and didn't put enough wing into it, and the left shoulder strap sort of came down on my SK7 bezel...

'doh

Bezel went flying across the deck and rolled under the bench. A compass without a Bezel is workable, but not really...

I need a bezel. Of course the Suunto site is down - so I don't have any contact information for them. Does anybody know if I can buy this directly from Suunto, or are there any dealers that stock parts, etc?

Thanks

I'm feeling a bit bambezeled but I'll try to point you in the right direction anyways.

Try calling a few Suunto dealers in the area. An LDS is probably the best bet, but any other place that sells Suunto merchandise might be able to help too.

Did it actually break or did it just pop out? They will come out without breaking.

There are four small teeth that hold it on the Pizza Box thingy (that white, 4-legged whatzis that looks like what they put on a pie to keep the box from sticking to it...)

The bezel is toothless, and therefore worthless.

And I am sad.

hay your in socal.. if you want it fixed take it to a local dive shop...
i know sport chalet uses the sk7 and they brake all the time ( rentals what can u say) .. have them call and see how much it would be to fix it... it should be cheeper then buying a new one...but proble take a week or two...

If all else fails get a used one off Ebay and part it out.

Maybe im odd but i never use the bezel on my compass at all, i just use the headings. If mine snapped it'd probably beem months before i noticed.
