Im interested in the divinyl flotation foam. Did you have to experiment much with the amount of Foam that you used?

Here's 3 pics of my Kent Tooling stand after I drilled some holes to lighten it. The black block is divinyl foam that I painted flat black. IIRC the holes and the foam reduces the inwater weight from 6+ lbs down to about 3 lbs. Although in April I am going to try out a Don6 stand that weighs 1.9 lbs.

A new mod is coming: 4PIN Male - to 4PIN Female cable. Combine it with a piggy tail (R573) and you'll be able to remove your O2 sensor tray. Pics will be in soon. The custom AK4 cable run is almost sold out.

@mehfridge - FYI

Folks, it has been a pleasure working with rEvo on the project that allows rEvo divers who do not have RMS to take the O2 sensor tray out of the unit. The cable set replaces R581 4-pin-to-3-Molex with two cables. It also allows you to quickly replace or repair the Molex "piggy tail," as you won't have to remove the entire assembly through the bulkhead.

This is for you if you:
  • Carry your unit in the truck bed and want the cells to ride in the AC'ed cabin.
  • Want to quickly replace/replace a Molex connector without doing gymnastics around the unit.
  • Want to replace the entire piggy tail assembly without pulling the cable through the bulkhead.
  • Want to have an additional monitor cable so that you can dive with two monitors (manual mode).
Note, this is an official rEvo mod. The Male-to-Female cable is factory made, i.e., not a spliced.

Very rad. I love this idea. Is it available to purchase from revo?

I had asked for a limited cable run for "my team" and have 3 cables that are spoken but not paid for. If those sales fall through, I'll can sell the extras. Also, reach out to rEvo and see if they have more.

The M-to-F 4-pin is the real money maker here. If your bulkhead has 3 PG-7 gland outlets, drop the cable in, cap both ends. That way, you can run 2 monitors if the controller goes out. I am planning to buy a HUD from Narked at 90 or Fathom to run as a spare monitor. My "buddy light" concept will also utilize the extra cable; stay tuned for more info.
