Don't want to start a riot but thinking about getting atomic b2,z2 or aqualung titan lx or ledgend(or something from those lines) what do u guys think?i have read untill my eyes r crossed........

my lds dont carry sp but im interested, rented some back in the day, have done a little research on the new stuff

Atomics are some of the best regs out there. Unfortunately, you pay out the nose for them. AquaLung and ScubaPro charge for their name as well. If you want great regs for half the price look at the Oceanic Delta 4/ EOS regs. These are IMHO the best regs for the money. I practicly threw out my brand new Mk25/ S600 when I opened my shop 2 yrs ago. The reg was about 6months old, but barely compared to my Delta 4 in either comfort or performance.

Well, I've been diving a B2 for over 10 years with narry a problem or even a hint of one.

At my LDS for a resonable price i got the MK11/S555, nothing to crazy but it is good for Rec diving in the Pacific. Im sure you can find it for less online, but I am happy with it.

Titan LX and Legend are both decent regs. Not the cheapest initially, but if you're buying from a local shop and they will do free inspections and rebuilds (charging for parts only), you can be ahead of the game after a few years compared to buying something cheaper without included service. When you're asking any shop (real or online) about cost, ask also about annual charges.

If you're sure you'll keep diving I would not pay that much attention to price, because the regulator will last over 10 years, and after a few months you'll have forgotten the price but will always be stuck with the performance.

LOL Now THAT is funny. I'll take a wild guess: You ARE an Oceanic dealer, but ARE NOT a Scubapro dealer.

My guess would be that he does not know how to service regulators. :shakehead:
