John, even with their vast experience, they went beyond the Standard PPO of 1.4 and even 1.6, what they don't understand is they were teaching Deep diving Rec specialty, in that course they teach you air management and the relation between depth and air usage, they just plain and simple ignored all what they preach, air have a recommended 57m PPO pushing it 66m, even that it is not recommended, US NAVY had allowed 85m PPO if I'm not mistaken, apparently they went far beyond that as well.
( if any one knows the US NAVY the PPN, please share it with me )
If I'm not mistaken NOAA set the standard of Max 1.4 and over Max 1.6PPO non working after there own research, and that is what all agencies ( or at least most ) adopted, the question is why they exceeded the Standards.
It seems that those 1000's of dives give them special powers in there minds and chase their own death.
Even with my lack of experience, I stay inside the standards, I just apply what I learned, or even put tighter standards where and when I can.
