iba talaga pag matanda na ang sumagot...malalim, malawak at malaman. Bata pa isip ko eh. Sorry pards hayup talaga, inom ka muna tubig at pa bp ka.

hehehe.. I'm just exasperated pards, I just bought a nice pair IST kevlar gloves as a christmas present to myself and now someone wants to ban them :(

Hey Brucie, hope you don't feel being ganged up in here we are a nice fun bunch :) I do get your point on the gloves but I guess there is just another side to it like all other stuff. There is one area in the Philippines where gloves are not allowed, Apo Island. As soon as they see you pull out a pair they fine you $9 (P500). And I find it funny because some divers bring knives and reef hooks so they could hook up on to the reef or jam a knife. But they didn't ban these things.

Just found a great article on the damage done by just touching the reef:

There is an earlier thread about banning gloves here:

The fact is that countries who look after their reefs ban gloves. They must have a valid reason for doing so.
Let's face it, if you really are a good diver you don't need gloves unless it is very cold. So why wear them?
hehehe thats just it bro, my hands get stiff and cold even in warm water ( it happens aorund 30 mins after the start of the dive) and snug fitting gloves is the answer. Now, am I excused?

hehehehe no way chip, wifey is getting impatient, i'm still here in the board, she wants me now! And oh don't worry, I think I left the "purse" at ellen's shop.

And Koya, you left your other "gloves" in the maids' quarters last night... hehehe.

Let's lobby the banning of these things as well due to the harm and trouble they MAY bring to this world
1. Cars - a lot of people get killed by cars. Cars kill people! (not the driver?)
2. CD / DVD burners - a lot of people pirate stuff violating copyright laws. CD / DVD burners violate copyright laws! (not the person who used it?)
3. Photocopiers - same reason as above.
4 The Internet - Porno, internet scams etc.. The internet is responsible for our kids now being able to see porno online and people are TEMPTED to cook up scams because of it. lets ban it

what else can you add guys?
HOLLYWOOD! we should ban hollywood and the whole western media monster!!!

our children are being subject to baywatch, wrestling, oprah, political correctedness, "world peace" crap, anti semitism and all the other crap coughed up by them

we should also ban water! did you know millions of people drown or die due to water!? cholera, disentery, shark attacks - all caused by water!!!
