Just bought my 1st set of regs, and I'm thinking of getting Nitrox certified this summer. I got a Mares Proton ice with a Proton octopus. I'm wondering if the octopus is suitable for Nitrox?

any reg is good to up to 40% nitrox
Ken,
Mares regulators and octo's are suitable for Nitrox up to 40% out of the box. Beyond 40% you would need to have them cleaned (if used) and refurbished with a nitrox kit.
