Just keep your tanks clean, the filter clean, and worry about it if and when it becomes a problem.
The sealing surface is flat so it can easily be re-surfaced.

There are other PVD coatings that produce very mirror-smooth finishes with a very low coefficient of friction.

Unfortunately, that is a coating on a base Stainless regulator, not "Titanium". What you don't get is the significant weight savings of a true Ti regulator.

Following up the thread about ScubaGaskets offering regulators I have decided to try one myself.

I have ordered the 2nd stage directly from Narwhal technology on Alibaba instead. This saved me a little bit for beer. Narwhal seems to be the manufacturer in China and SG only the middle man.

Ordering was easy just clicking in the app, and 2 weeks later I got it. No taxes were paid.
