Following up the thread about ScubaGaskets offering regulators I have decided to try one myself.

European o-ring and service part and tool provider Scubagaskets has just launched a new stainless steel balanced piston reg with turret.

It comes with a pair of adjustable second stages and an SPG. Price through the end of April is a very reasonable € 399. € 489 starting in May.

There's also an O2 Stage version with a single second stage and green trimmings for € 299. Finally they show an environmentally sealed diaphragm version "coming soon"...

I have ordered the 2nd stage directly from Narwhal technology on Alibaba instead. This saved me a little bit for beer. Narwhal seems to be the manufacturer in China and SG only the middle man.

Ordering was easy just clicking in the app, and 2 weeks later I got it. No taxes were paid.

The regularor delivers on the promise:
All black body
Miflex black hose
Black hose threads
Plastic body
SS ring cover
SS internal mechanism
External micro adjust
Venturi control
Reusable ziptie
CE on the regulator
CE on the mouthpiece
Weight 230g

The quality looks top notch to me. The improvements in the materials used and external micro adjust + the low price = great deal by my standarts.

The regulator came adjusted to 1.6. Easily turned it to 1.2 and even lower. The external micro adjust is handy.

During the dive nothing special noted. Easy breathing. No freeflow. Didn't mind the weight.

Paid: 150$ including shipping.

Will order few more now.

I have dived the T4 2nd stage only 5 times since this post. And it's great.
Today I am finishing a dive safari in Dahab, total 12 dives on the T2 2nd stages. And they are flawless so far. Up to 40m depth.

sure... i hope they have a final iteration... i overhaul my own regs and don't wana end up with something i cant overhaul in the long run.

but read on the other thread that stainless is no good for deco gas?

Kits are available on Ali / Scubagasket. Buy enough, get the awesome manual by @rsingler.
And you are set for a few decades.

Well if someone could tell me what you're reviewing here and how it works or what the etiquette is
but I've been diving these flawless regs, flawless as I consider all regs the same take you down take
you back up again, 40m plus, nitrox, oxygen, helium, for decades, cost, a couple of hundred dollars
