Thank you all for your contribution and feedback. Yes is true we didn't pay that much attention to the names of SGT3 and SGS3 since are not available for sale yet and since our main goal was to finish with the SGS2T2 first as well as the manuals and all changes that had to be done on the gear itself.....new samples to be produced, and then testing again, evaluating the results, and changing the procedures in the manual. It was a difficult, long process and considering the communication issues with our Chinese associates,' Chinese language time difference, and sometimes bad connection, you can imagine how hard it was. By the way, here in Cyprus, we speak Greek and sometimes I don't understand all your comments or remarks if not written in a clear way. Well, the bottom line is that we do our best as scubagaskets, to generate the best possible product at a universal price for all with free circulation of service manuals and unrestricted spare part supply. I saw some comments above regarding the price and i just want to mention that our price includes a significant shipping cost. So even if someone orders 20 sets he/she will pay only 29,99 euros shipping due to our flat rate shipping policy. You don't want to know how much we will pay for the shipping of a 30-40 kgr order! Trust me is a lot! So at the end of the day, the cost of a product is how much you finally pay for it, and taking consideration the after-sale support, the maintenance cost, and the availability of spare parts, etc. not only the initial price.

Appreciate your weighing in.

Thanks for taking the time to respond. To clarify my intentions, I wish you the best to succeed, and my feedback is simply only my honest opinion of things to improve the perception of these products beyond those that are already familiar with the Scuba Gaskets name.

Cool looking regs. Is there any update on how well/safe these regs perform for high O2?

O2 clean is not rocket science and particularly straight forward for brand new parts I guess?
Earlier in this thread someone mentioned that stainless steel is not as safe as brass for high O2, and then another comment said Scuba Gaskets were investigating this. So I was curious if a conclusion had been determined for this potential issue. It's not an issue about the cleaning and O-rings from factory, but the actual metal used in these regs.

Do people actually think these regs will spontaneously combust and explode into flames if they are used for 100% O2?

I personally have very little knowledge about this topic, which is why I'm asking. The comment by Tanks A Lot on April 24 has an interesting table with references showing some dramatic differences between different metal alloys, so it is interesting to hear from the brand and from others who are experts in this topic to see what these SG regs may behave like with O2.

What about all the other stainless components of a reg like perhaps a stainless turret bolt in a brass reg body or a lever or barrel in a second stage, or a piston?
What about SPG spools, the SPG internals, or several other possible pieces of stainless in the system that have probably already been exposed many times over during the span of all the tech diving that has been done over the years.
What about emergency O2 kits on boats and used topside, do they have any stainless components that come in direct contact with O2?
IDK 🤷, honest question.

I think the company's concern was regarding their initial plans for a reusable 316SS flat filter.
Sintered SS would probably not be a great choice for a high pressure, high flow, oxygen pathway.
Since they changed the reg's specification to a more standard disposable sintered filter, the issue is probably moot.
Depending upon reg sales, they may or may not introduce that option in the future. But with a PFA seat, Viton orings, oxygen-safe lube and a standard sintered filter, I personally don't see much of a problem.
