Hi,

Sat was another great day for diving. We went out on the Double Down. Man, what a fast boat. The 6 of us made it down south of Pt. Lobos to dive on Flintstones, then the Pinnacle of Tremendous Proportion, and finally a stop at Aumentos reef in the bay on the way back home.

The noteworthy points from saturdays dives were:

-The current was extremely strong at Flintstones and doing a safety stop was difficult hanging on the line.

-We did a true drift dive along the length of the Pinnacle of Tremendous Proportion. Incredible!

-Aumentos was guarded by hundreds of sea nettles!

Here are a few pics. The original galleries can be found at these three links:

It was so much fun! The Double Down is a great ride!

Thanks for posting the pictures Robin! :uwphotographer:

Great shots Robin! I love how your rig makes crabs ready to fight. :D

Robin, fantastic! I love the narrow FOV you're using in some shots.

The kelp in shot 2 looks like there's a ripping surface current, but from the diver's bubbles, things seem pretty calm at depth. It's really cool to see that contrast.

Those are beautiful shots! Glad you got a great day of diving ;-).

Awesome shots! Love the crab with the diver in the background!

Thanks for posting those!!
