Diver Dennis:
That is a great idea Caloy. We might do that when we get to Manila. Are there any airport delays due to what is going on there?

if i may dennis, it's pretty much back to normal here...no need to worry much on the political thing. in all honesty it's just a case of people getting back at each other...former friends now enemies, it's still the same 20 years after the 1st people power revolution.

regarding the airports, for domestic flights, plan to be at the airports around 2hours before departure time for all the usual checks.

Thanks guys. I was never worried about anything except flight delays. Nothing else could stop us from coming.

Jag, since you are coming off an international flight, you have a 2 bag, 70 lb. each limit. Just make sure to keep all the paperwork when you leave the US and there won't be a problem. We are in the same boat and won't be telling them anything about scuba gear.
70 lb is only to/from the US I believe. I'm coming from Japan. 50 pounds...

FWIW, you can get PAL's sports plus privilege card (golf, scuba equipment etc.) which would entitle you to an additional 30 kilos. I have availed of such privilege and it has served me well. It costs $20 and runs for year.
Calory, where can I get this card? I didn't see anything on the website...
