The other one are simpler but a bit higher profile with the manual shutoff. I usually will buy this sort of thing from Seaskin at about 1/2 of what they cost here but they are shut down for who knows how long.
use the Trigon on all three of my suits, I like that they are simple and low profile. Care is needed when rinsing (I just use the hose with nozzle that I rinse my gear with but with very very low flow, no pressure just flow. I found to much pressure and the inner mushroom valve can upset and not seal, making for a warm/cold, warm/cold wet dive and some serious suit and undie cleaning, all you need to do is unscrew the valve and check the mushroom valve on the inside if you think you over pressured it at which point you can soak it in disinfectant.Sorry to jump in the convo late, but which model does everyone have? I think the top 3 main ones are Halcyon, Light Monkey Tinkle, and Si Tech Trigon?
I'd like to install one on my suit. Right now I either squirm coming back to shore and the last few minutes are uncomfortable or I end up feeling dehydrated near the end of a dive. I can do either, but I wouldn't call it enjoyable.
