I'm not a RB diver,,but just curious. Have you ever found a new, fresh out of the package sensor with questionable linearity. I've had a brand new LP hose leak at the crimp and new SMB's that wouldn't hold air.Last year I found a couple of non linear sensors before their expiration date..............tested for linearity.
It's not unheard of for them to be bad. They are effectively a battery, so it's always possible something went wonky. O2 cells aren't morning people though, they need to hit snooze a couple of times and have their morning coffee, then breakfast in bed, then they may decide to join the land of the living. It's generally best to give them close to 24 hours to really "wake up" before you try to use them if at all possible.I'm not a RB diver,,but just curious. Yes. All of them were the ****-y ones that Oxycheq sells. (AST brand). 4 of them from varying lots and production dates actually. I'm pretty sure a few other people had issues too. They're ****-y enough that they replace them no questions asked. Problem is some of them were the replacements. I tossed them all in the trash and chalked it up to a learning experience (and that lesson was AST cells are the ****-iest on the market).I'm not a RB diver,,but just curious. @LFMarm - How are you testing the o2 sensors (i.e., do you have a DIY tester)?
