Eh............ for some reason the link doesn't work for me either, dang it. But from what I've seen, it looks like just a couple floating around with sharks around them, doesn't really have anything to do with scuba. Sure, they're floating with bcs and have regs and stuff on them, but unless they some how miraculously switch out tanks during the incidence, I don't think this movie is (or can) be about scuba.

H2Andy:
i have an idea for another lost at sea movie.

in this one, one DIR and one PADI diver, both Scubaboard members, get lost at sea.

at first, they hate each other, and the PADI dude has the
advantage when he attacks the DIR girl with a huge,
calf-strapped dive knife whilst the DIR girl has to defend
herself with her little line cutter, but then, the DIR girl
uses her light canister to bang the PADI dude over the head,
so they declare a truce...

so they start to like each other, and pretty soon, they
realize that, hey, man, it's all like, one ocean! and we're like,
all in it together, man... and they fall in love.

then the boat finds them, and they get married, and they
have lots of little diving children. but they still cant agree
on which system the children will dive, so they take turns
every weekend until the kids hit 18 and figure out what
setup they want.

the end

I think I saw that happen once in Coz outside of Carlos & Charlies.....:crafty:

Perhaps this is off on a tangent, but I've often wondered by dive boats don't use a system similar to the Boy Scout "Buddy Board" used at the waterfront areas at scout camps.
Each person has a tag with his/her name on it. All participants are buddied up. The buddy pairs take their respective tags and move it from the "Out" section of the board to the "In" section when they enter the waterfront area. When they come out, they move their buddy tags from the "In" section back to the "Out" section.

A quick visible check alerts the responsible person to any unaccounted persons.
